Introduction

This year Christchurch's Carnival has a new committee of volunteers and the decision has been made to make the events on the Quay free entry this year and follow a more family orientated theme. For more information on the events and entertainment planned for this year please take a look at the relevant tabs to the left. So far this year plans to boast a Grand Fireworks Display on Saturday 14th August, a full and exciting Carnival that will leave Stanpit at approximately 3pm also on Saturday 14th and finish on the Quay at approximately 5pm, various stalls, a variety of food and drink catering on the Quay, local bands and entertainment and of course Coles Funfair!

Christchurch Carnival Committe would like to thank all the people and businesses that have supported and attended the event in previous years and look forward to seeing you again this years event!
