We are grateful for the continued support and assistance in the run-up to the Carnival Week and over the weekend, from friends and colleagues, when they work tirelessly to keep the event running smoothly. In no particular order, we would like to thank:
- Steve Bridgewater
- Jenny Beames
- Kevin Trim
- Mick Collis
- Johnnie Lovell & the Thomas Tripp bar staff
- Bournemouth Amusements
- Longs Bar (Lymington) Staff
- Staff and members of the Royal British Legion in Christchurch
- Academy Snooker Hall in Boscombe
Roger and his crew of Leisure Light and Sound are also thanked for their professionalism and assistance with the music and stage throughout the weekend!
The Christchurch Regatta and Carnival contact details are as follows:
The committee is grateful to Christchurch Council for the use of the Quay, Saxon Square and the recreation grounds at Stanpit and Barrack Road.
The Christchurch Police are thanked for their continued support and patience.
Also thanks must go to the traders in Christchurch who are often inconvenienced by the carnival route - and in particular, restaurants who may have diners who are delayed in their arrival or departure during the carnival procession.
