Welcome to the Christchurch Carnival website
The dates for the 2009 Christchurch Carnival are the 15th and 16th of August with the Carnival Procession taking place on the same day (15th August).
We have set a provisional start time of 3pm from Stanpit with all non-motorised floats finishing on the Quay. No theme has been set as yet, but check back here for further information soon!
Over the weekend we have Adams Axemen, Samba Panashe, various local artists, the PDSA dog show, Funky Little Choir, Pure Funk dance group, the Plonkers Agricultural Band, Salsa dancers, Wessex Fire Brigade, IVO the Clown plus a lot more to be confirmed yet!
